The Waiting Day

Today was crazy because I was trying to make the day go as fast as possible so that it could be tomorrow when Cassidy will be here! I am soooo beyond excited for tomorrow. I woke up and took a shower and then had a piece of apple pie for breakfast.

Then I headed to school listening to Christmas music and thinking about how awesome life is. When I got to school there were people in our classroom so I headed down to the cave and found Sara and Jonny. I was helping Sara decide what she wanted to have for lunch and in the meantime asked her if she was going to ea her clementines. She said she was. I was sad. Then I offered her Pringles that I had in my bag and she wanted them so we traded oranges for Pringles. Then I learned that earlier she had traded Jonny cookies for the oranges. It was funny we all ended up trading. We decided it was like grade school!
Then I went to history which was weird because the room was set up like a talk and not with the tables so it was a bit interesting to juggle all my pen colors without a surface to put them on. But Cassandra and I turned the chairs in front of us around and then sat with our legs on them and we sort of made it work. Class was just strange today though. We started like fifteen minutes late and then were like rushing through everything. I was having a hard time paying attention but I think it was because I wasn’t concentrating because I was trying to get all of the notes written.

Then after that I went to get lunch at the Casino and then ran into Jonny and Sally and then waited for Cassandra outside of the Vietnamese place. When she came out we went to an ATM to get money out and then went to the cave in the new building. It smells like moisture down there because there is a well. And it isn’t completely covered over so it smells musky and humid. But we were down there to eat. We had some PMS cookies which are actually PiMS cookies but because they are chocolate, jam, and angel food cake cookies we decided they are PMS cookies as you can’t help but feel better after eating them. They are really good but also pretty rich. We talked about Oreos and what we want to eat when we get home.
Then we had to go to class so Patrick and I went up to our Lit class. It was pretty normal day. He was about ten minutes late but we all were still there following the standard 15 minute rule. We talked about the book and I participated in class just fine knowing the characters and storyline. Patrick would keep interrupting me in the middle of a sentence though to say something I already knew. It was kind of obnoxious. I hate getting cut off in the middle, or really not even middle, of when I am making a point and I don’t get to finish my thought. >:-( But it was all fine in the end. We watched a little four minute YouTube from the video of the book. Then soon enough class was over! It was kind of nice to be done until next week!

Then I went to a little store and bought some things and then went back to the cave. I would say what I bought but it is a surprise! HA! Take that now I have surprises! Then I waited in the cave until 6:30 when Sally was done with LaSia. She has been way sicker than I have and they are planning on going to Monaco this weekend. I hope she feels better or else that is really going to suck! Hopefully it is better. I told her some of the cool things to do in Monaco that I wish I had had more time to do. I think they will have fun. But not as much fun as US!!!! :-D We ate some cheese and bread after I stole a plastic fork from some girl and then we headed out.
After that we went down to the shopping center where right now there is the Marche des villes jumiels. Which is where the sister villages of Aix which are in Lebanon and Germany come and sell things! It is kind of cool. We walked around a bit and said dang we wish we didn’t have dinner in an hour so we could buy some of these delicious sausages! But we did so we didn’t buy anything. I did find a small gift for someone though. (Robyn) WHAT! And then we spied the heart apples that we Cassandra and I saw in Germany. They are really cute even though they are just apples. I like them. Then after we walked around that we said goodbye for the weekend because their train leaves early. Then I headed home.

When I got home I dropped off my stuff and then went downstairs. They were reading a book together so I joined in and we each took turns reading pages. Then Laurence came home and we talked a bit about Cassidy. I said yeah we leave tomorrow and Paul kind of freaked out and was like “You are leaving TOMORROW?!” And I was like” no no no not for forever yet. And that even after forever I will be back to visit.” He was a bit better after that. Then I showed Laurence a picture of Cassidy and we talked about how she was at the airport. Then Stitchette jumped off because I stopped petting her. She is getting good at seeing me and then jumping on me to pet her. Then we went upstairs for dinner. I had cordon bleu and rice and Madame had leftover pasta with broccoli because there wasn’t enough for two people. I wasn’t too hungry. We skipped bread and cheese and then I ate the last piece of pie with ice cream. It was very delicious. Then I played with Beebow and then when I came back into the room he attacked me which was pretty funny. Madame was like “Why did he do that?!” And I was like “oh I was just playing with him a minute ago”. It was funny. I played with her toy too. It’s a stick with a ball with a hole in it and you throw the ball to get the stick in the hole to get the ball to stay on the stick. It was really hard and made of wood so it was pretty heavy. I gave up after a few minutes.

Then we settled in and watched Jurassic Park. I hadn’t really ever seen the first one, I had only seen the second so it was kind of fun! We did that and I talked to Cassidy while she got on the plane and I ironed out plans for tomorrow. I am really excited she is coming! I can’t wait to see someone I know! I also changed our Paris hotel. The one we were in was closer to central Paris but it had TERRIBLE reviews and I found an Ibis budget not too far away that was on a metro line and only 10 Euros more. I decided it was worth it. Plus now we have wifi and clean room! WIN!

Now to sleep so that I can wake up tomorrow and pack and go get Cassidy!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
